DAY 1: TANGIER - CHEFCHAOUEN
Our private Morocco Tour starts when we meet you in the airport/Port and we drive through the Rif mountains , Tétouan. We will enjoy the views of the Rif mountains. We reach Chefchaouen where we will spend this night in a riad / hotel with breakfast.
DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN - VOLUBILIS - MEKNES - FES.
After breakfast our private Morocco Tour continues ; Today towards Volubilis , where we explore Romain ruins. Then we head to Meknes to this 17 th century heritage. After lunch here we explore historical medina , also Bab el-Mansour and Moulay Ismail’s shrine. Then we will drive to Fes ,where we will spend the night in a local riad.
DAY 3: FES SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast in your riad , you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter,the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes.
DAY 4: FES – IFRANE – AZROU – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA
in the morning we’ll leave Fes travelling towards Merzouga via Midlet and the Ziz Valley. Today we’ll travel via the village of Ifrane, a beautiful mountain village, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. During this journey you’ll see glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountain stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you may well see some Barbary apes. Our Trip continues to Midelt along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas. We’ll be travelling through the fascinating the Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas, seeing how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the désert as you approach the city of Errachidia. This is our lunch stop and the opportunity for some Berber hospitality before we head off along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views en-route through Erfoud then arrive to Merzouga in afternoon , will ride the camel to the desert camp where we will spend the night under the camp dinner and breakfast included.
DAY 5: MERZOUGA - TODRA GORGE - DADES VALLEY
We will get up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before making our way back by camels to our guest house for breakfast and shower. Later We'll drive through the mountains. We will arrive to Todgha Gorge where we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch and take a short walk through the gorge before arriving at Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation.
DAY 6: DADES VALLEY - ROSES VALLEY - OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU - HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAIN - MARRAKECH
After breakfast , we will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M'gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip .we will stop at Ait Benhaddou Kasbah for lunch, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains. It used to be one of his stops during his long travel from the Sahara to Marrakech., now the kasbah is one of the UNESCO heritage sites. after that we will shift the way to cross high atlas mountains full of panoramic views and attractive Berber villages all along the way till Marrakech.
